Liberals Learn From Terrorists

Byron York of the NRO has a must read article on People for the American Way (PFAW), a liberal group that has played a major role in the attacks on a number of President Bush's judicial nominations in recent years. It appears that this group has two "wings":

1. People for the American Way Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) organization- which means that it is a fully tax-exempt charity forbidden from doing any lobbying, its contributions are tax deductible

2. PFAW itself, which is a 501(c)(4) organization- which while tax exempt, contributions to it are not tax deductible, because it engages in political lobbying

The numerous corporate donations the PFAW has received is from the 501(c) wing. The donors are not made aware of the true nature of this organization. They were made to believe that they were contributing to a foundation that is a "nonprofit, nonpartisan civil rights and constitutional liberties organization that promotes the values that sustain a free and diverse society".

Interestingly, this is how Hamas & Hezbollah operates too. They too have a social services wing, which collects the donations & does social work that promotes their ideology. This wing covertly supports the militant wing, by helping it recruit potential suicide bombers & creating favorable public opinion, as well as providing financial resources.

How does that saying go....Birds of a feather, flock together.

NB: I've reposted this, for some reason Blogger had failed to save my edits.

Comments:
...and republicans are like nazis. And, libertarians are republicans who want to keep smoking pot. But nobody listens to them anyway.

You are useless to political discussion. You are a troll.

I seriously doubt you're female, either. Especially with you waving your dick around like this.

PS: Republicans get money from corporate donors. They launder money into their PR funds. They are terrorists by your definition. Can we all fit on Gitmo?

I hope you delete this guy... I've just deleted him from my blog. I can't be bothered with people who cannot come up with an argument, and whose preference for abuse is obvious.

Anonymous, if you believe so much in what you say, why not publish with your email & webpage.

I am not going to delete you: you make the case for what I do better than any post I could ever write.

Thank-you so much. People like you make thing so much easier for us :)

PS: Thanks for defending me shipwrecks, hope he didn't pollute your blog too.
